Wolf Den - Second Grade

Welcome to the Wolf Den

2nd Grade

or 7-8 Yrs

The Wolf rank is for Scouts who have finished first grade (or who are 8 years old). To earn the Wolf badge, a Scout must complete six required adventures and one elective adventure.

Advancement for the Wolf rank is done by the scout in a number of ways: at pack meetings, den meetings and with their family outside of the den. The parent signs off in the scout's handbook and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook in our tracking Software.

The Wolf program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with their den and more individual direction as they graduate to Webelos.

After a Scout has earned the Wolf badge, a Wolf Scout can work on the remaining 12 Wolf electives until they finish third grade (or turn 9 years old). They can choose elective adventures that may show them new hobbies and teach skills that will be useful during his Boy Scout years. When they complete an elective adventure, they receive an additional adventure loop to wear on their belt.
